Marijuana
The debate over marijuana is almost split 50/50 on whether it should be legalized to the public or not. However, many people support a side and really have no clue on the issues themselves.
Marijuana is the common name given to the preparation from the hemp plant, Cannibissativa. Various forms of this drug are known by different names throughout the world, such as Kif in Morocco, Dagga in South Africa, and gangi in India. Marijuana is known to have many slang terms such as: grass, pot, tea, reefer, weed, and Mary Jane. Marijuana can be smoked, eaten in cakes, and drunk in beverages.
Marijuana has had major physiological effects on the cardiovascular and central nervous system. These effects are primarily sedative and hallucinogenic. ( Macintosh, p.12) Low doses of this drug can produce a sense of well-being, relaxation, and sleepiness...
