Is Ultimate a Sport?
Millions of people around the world participate in physical or sporting activity, but how do we determine whether an activity is a sport or just physical exercise or a pastime? ... One of these is “Ultimate Frisbee”. This study will aim to discuss which attributes of Ultimate make it seem to be a sport, and also see if there are any attributes which would suggest otherwise.
Ultimate Frisbee is not a new sport, in fact the first set of rules were developed in 1967 at Columbia High school, Maplewood, New Jersey, USA. ... Ultimate is played on a field of rectangular shape with end zones at either end of the pitch. ...
