There were various values and purposes of Renaissance education. Some of the values were viewed more important than others. Some of the skills that were thought to be important during the Renaissance are not thought to be important today. Not everyone shared the same thoughts on what was important to be taught during the Renaissance. In every time period there is what is thought to be the right way and the wrong way of doing things. Who is to say what is right and what is wrong.
There were many things that were thought to be important for people to learn. Many people believed that only a few people should learn to read. They believed that grammar, penmanship, how to ride, play, play dance dress well geometry, and music where all-important skills for successful people to possess.
