Bengini's film Life is Beautiful uses comedy to tell a tale of horror that follows the inner journey of a family through a variety of experiences over the course of 15 years from 1930 to 1945. The film follows the efforts of a loving father to protect his son both mind and body from the horrors of war. This indeed is a moving scenario, yet it is the way that this horrific story is made beautiful through comedy, which makes this film unique.
