Ideological differences played little part in the origin of the Cold War

Ideology was perhaps one of the foundations that led to The Cold War. It was mainly a struggle between communism, in USSR and capitalism, in USA. The ideologies of the two countries collided. Their differences led to tension between the two superpowers. However I am going to show that other explanations such as the way each ideology looks upon a market and the fears both countries had for one another are also details that can help us attempt to explain The Cold War.
One could say that The Cold War started as far back as 1917 when Russia became communist. However we think of The Cold War being from 1945-1989. During this time there was such tension between, USA and USSR, the rest of the world was terrified that The Third World War would break out. If we try and find motives for why USA and USSR were so tense the main cause was the fact that they had such different views on how one should rule a country.
