Gym Assignment # 1:
Badminton 105
Kemani Brown Tuesday, March 2, 2004
Prof. ... Lambert) College
(G-244)
Warm-up should be done prior to competing in any sport or physical activity. A simple warm-up plan gets the blood flowing through the muscles and also stretches them at the same time. A failure to warm-up before exposing oneself to physical activity leads to a higher risk of one “pulling a muscle” or getting injured while competing in the activity. A simple warm-up plan normally consists of:
(1) a light jog of about 5-10 minutes to help the body get warm and to enable proper blood circulation,
(2) basic stretching techniques that trigger the major muscles.
