The Canterbury Tales has been read for centuries across the world. Because of this it has become one of the greatest classics. Classics are described as an author, or work generally considered being of the highest rank or excellence, especially one of enduring significance. From the Wife of Baths tales to The Maciples we learn lessons about life and just about then but today too. The Manciple and the Wife of Bath about universal themes, The Prologue tells us about class structure, and the tales also deal with common issues.
