SELF EVALUATION PAPER
Over this course, I have learned that it takes a great deal of personal effort and commitment to change to healthier habits. Everyone has room in their lives for making positive changes to improve their overall health and wellness. Often, the most apparent opportunities to change are also the ones given the least attention. Habits that lead to stress, poor diet, lack of exercise and smoking all dramatically impact individual health.
I have learned that I must focus on eating better. The major problems with American diets are often the result of obesity or over nutrition. I have learned that the daily intake of food that is in excess of our body's needs, is a serious health risk and has been linked to several diseases including coronary heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers. We are all creatures of habit and habits determine what we think and feel and what we do and have. It is this simple. Some habits are deeply implanted in our subconscious and when we seek to change our lives old habits pull us back into the same situations, and conditions, repeating the same old experiences...
