Agony is the extreme feeling of pain. It often occurs when one is traumatized or injured in a way that someone experiences physical pain. Yelling and moaning often accompany this feeling. It is very upsetting to be injured.
I was spending my Saturday afternoon like I normally did hanging out with my friends Kevin and Steve. We decided to play baseball in Kevin's front yard. When it became time for me to pitch to Kevin, I threw him a fastball. Kevin popped it strait up in the air and as I ran forward to catch the baseball I tripped and skidded down on both knees. As luck would have it I landed on a metal grate that had been placed there years ago by the electric company to cool some sort of underground transformer.
As I began to stand up I heard my friend Kevin gasp, "Oh my God dude, look at your leg"...
