Lincoln reveals his objection to slavery in the beginning of the article. He hated it not only because of the monstrous injustice of slavery itself, but also because of the damage in the republican example of its just influence in the world. Lincoln's main point in the speech is based on setting all slaves free in the country because it is against equality of human.
He said that all people can have their own free life. According to him, there are only few people who own slave and keep them forever. However, those who wanted to own slaves in their home didn't want to accept the fact. They wanted to have slaves home and they treated their slaves like hogs. They sell them and buy them whenever they needed. They don't think their slaves are human. The slavery owners do not recognize their slavery as a friend, nor as a honest man...
