Many people in today’s society experience a captive situation that introduces itself in many different ways. For some, it might take nothing at all to overcome or escape the captivity that their experiencing, but for others, it takes every ounce of heart to get pass this time in life. I, myself, have been introduced many times by this feeling and captivness and it played a big roll at the beginning of my high school career. It was going to be my first day in a totally different world, starting a new life without any of the friends I had in my middle school days. I entered the walkways of my new high school life and didn’t know where to go or what to do. A friend had told me that the new kids get greeted with a toss in the bush or written on with a marker signaled with an F for freshman. For me meeting those requirements, I was in terror for the first couple of months not knowing if they knew if I was a freshman or when the next step I take might be towards a bush.
