Renaissance vs. Modern World
The Renaissance period began in the early 1300's. It began a time known as the "rebirth", developing new ideas, learning, humanism, and also purposes art. Art took on a new perspective, during this time period. Before the 1300's Art was filled with depression, despair and it was drab. It was very lifeless, only 2-D and was very religious. During the renaissance time period, art was filled with perspective, color, size, balance. Most paintings had a vanishing point and a horizon, unlike ones from the 1200's. They tried to show emotion not by crying hysterically, but by showing deep pain. This technique allowed to still capture, and show all the true beauty, yet show emotion...
