Punishment in the U S And Mexico

The attitude toward Punishment around the world is different but I will talk to you about two of states that are practically neighbors, the United States and My country Chiapas Mexico which are very different, some of their Differences which are punishments on Crimes like: Robbery, Speeding, and age for drinking.
In the United States crime is a problem, but in Chiapas Mexico crime is a bigger problem. Chiapas is a little country where a lot of Mayan's and Indians live like me. Another thing is that every one knew each other in a way or another so If a person committed a crime, for example a robbery in the United States the person would get a ticket and go to court. If the person went to jail and then afterward he or she would either be bailed out or not depending on the case. They may also be given probation time. In contrast in Chiapas a person committing a robbery crime would either be killed or tortured depending on how big the case is. This happens only when the people in the little country know who committed the crime.
In the United States, if you got caught speeding you can be given a ticket and maybe get your vehicle impounded depending on the case. However, in Chiapas if you are caught speeding you can just pay your way out by paying the police a hundred pesos in Mexican money, which in U...
