Communism is a scheme of equalizing the social conditions of life. Specifically, a scheme that contemplates the abolition of inequalities in the possession of property, as by distributing all wealth equally to all or by holding all wealth in common for the equal use and advantage of all. This is just a short explanation of what communism is. In the 'Communist Manifesto', Karl Marx explains that. We know that communism did not work because of one main reason: it defies human nature and human rights. Marx recognizes that communism may differ amongst countries and time, but he establishes an outline of 'ten commandments' that define 'true' communism.
His first main idea is the "abolition of private property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes". This simply means that all land property will go to the government and redistributed fairly within all the masses. Who is to say that the government will not be corrupt in the process of redistribution? Later on, this main idea of private property annihilation will include food, clothes, and personal items that were distributed evenly in rations like property was, which Marx failed to mention in his manifesto...
