The Thick Headed Crowe
"The grey eyed goddess, the clear headed, the wise," all these are examples of epithets for characters in the Odyssey. The epithet that I thought of for me is "the Thick Headed Crowe." This epithet has to do with an inside joke between my friends and I. My friends know that if I start to talk, most of the words that I say are completely illogical. For example two years ago I randomly asked one of my close friends, "When is Halloween on Friday the 13th?" Another reason that I am called thick headed is because I say things that are not completely thought out. I just start talking before I get a chance to think about what I am about to say.
Everyone that knows me knows that, on occasion, I make absolutely no sense when I talk. I say something that sounds right in my head, except when it comes out it sounds like a bunch of "mumbo jumbo." Before winter break some of my friends went to a concert at the Allstate arena, and when they came home I asked them without thinking, "was Nirvana the surprise opening band?..
