What I have been asked to do.
In this selected piece of coursework I have been ask to investigate osmosis. Osmosis is the movement of water from a stronger concentration of water to a weaker concentration through a partially permeable membrane.
To complete my osmosis coursework I have to carry out a preliminary experiment first, before I do my actual experiment. I chose to do this as I thought it would be the best way to test for which concentrations would be most successful to use in my actual experiment and to check that the method used is adequate. After I have completed my preliminary experiment I will then be able to decide from my results which other concentrations would be best to use.
The concentrations I am going to use in this stage of the experiment are 0.0Mols and 1.0Mols. I have chosen to use these two concentration levels because they lie at the extreme end of the scale, 0...
