To me recycling is worth the effort. There is an endless amount of benefits that come from recycling. It does not take much effort, so there is no reason why someone should not or does not recycle.
Although it may be costly recycling saves the environment. Many people find no need for it but the truth is that there is a real need for it. Paper has a lot of advantages when recycled. When you recycle paper it saves more landfill space than any other material. Plastic packaging reduces air pollution, and helps conserve oil and gas. Container glass when recycled makes up 90% of discarded glass, can be recycled indefinitely and be made into food containers. Steel can when recycled reduce pollution, conserves ore, and can also be recycled indefinitely...
