In an era when contemporary society is permeated with assorted information brought by technology innovation, many samll pieces of factual information is also available to us now. Yet the speaker claims that people have focused too little on the larger issues and lack an overall perspectives owning to an overdue attention paying to those bits of fragmented infomation. However, I fundamentally disagree with the statement.
In my point of view, access to a great myriad of fragmented informaiton conduce to our intrest in larger issues and help to build an overall perspectives and comprehensive understand of the issue. To find a supporting evidence we go no further to look back reports of president election in recent years. TV programmes convey us a full,vivid, detaild and all round information of every candidate, as well as their hot debate process which will certainly arouse people's interests to some extent, even for those who never care about politics, he/she may get a general acknowlegement of the Presidental election through the ubiqutous propaganda and introduction. In addition, exposd to all these enormous fragmented and confusing, even contradicting information, such as the past achievement of this or that candidate, some suggestions mady by his coworkers and friends,we are offered a chance to have a all-arond perspective of each candidate, which will ensure that we do not circumscribed to the most simple and straightfoward introduction by authority.
Furthermore,Factual information that availble on Internet and TV also help us to deepen our knpwledge of some controversial events. For instance, our acknowledgement of the IRAQ War is upgraded and deepend from the diversified fragmented information provided by TV reporters. After watching pictures of the misrable life of Iraq people which actually resulted in the governing of Suddam Government, the anti war activicists will certainly comprehend a least meaning and justice of the war, whereas after watching pictures of the wounded soilders and homeless children, those who intensely support the war will undoutedly retrospect the primitive purpose and requestion the justice of the war...
