Equity exists in the ideal world. If it had to be put in practice, it would involve a very high cost on the government. The purchasing of food and other basic needs is an everyday necessity and it involves a regular cost which it can be controlled by the person according to his / her spending power. Illness is not planned, it occurs all of a sudden. It involves a high cost. All treatments start at a basic cost which many times rise up to thousands of Euros. Only professional people provide health care and this is done in order to provide the best possible treatment to the patients.
