The different needs for data collection can range from taking articles or catalogues and turning them into market systems or ERP systems. The use of this system can help a company to break the information that they need and transfer it into databases.
There are three ways that RoboSuite can be used for data collection, data migration, competitor tracking, and market places.
Data migration-implementing a content management system and feeding it with data from legacy web sites.
Competitor tracking-gathering competitive product information, press releases, patent information, etc. from competitor web sites.
Market places-gathering product information from a large number of web sites, and implementing a price comparison function, or similar. (RoboSuite, 2004)
