a day in the life of a southernern in the 1800's

The trip over was a huge risk for my family and I, there were many illnesses and diseases that we were exposed to and thankfully no one got sick. We landed in Massachusetts on April 26, 1790 and i feel Massachusetts will be a great place to settle since this colony was built for religious freedom and that is one of the reasons we left England.
