Organization of the Paper
The paper is to be divided into five sections: Introduction, General Economic Analysis, Industry Analysis, Company Analysis, and Recommendation.
I. Introduction (one paragraph)
In this section of the paper, state the name of the company that you will be analyzing, purpose for performing the analysis, and the overall organization of the paper. You should also state in this section, in one or two sentences, the recommendation for action relative to the stock, leaving a longer discussion for the
Recommendation section.
II. General Economic Analysis (maximum - 1 page)
This section should develop a discussion of the current state of the economy relative to real and nominal GNP, inflation, interest rates (short and long-term), corporate profits, disposable income, etc., as well as a discussion of those economic factors that could affect the supply and demand of the product/service of your company (e.g., labor, capital investment, material costs). Your economic analysis should be used to support your valuation of the stock and your final recommendation...
