What does people think about when they hear the word Voodoo? When public think about Voodoo, they usually have in minds voodoo dolls, curses and chanting, but that isn't the complete picture. People have captivated the imagination of Hollywood producers, who have made use of zombies and the black magic behind the Voodoo religion. However, it also has had many opponents illustrating it as being an evil and monstrous belief that have power over anyone who dares to engage in its practices. The Hollywood version of Voodoo cruelly portrays Voodoo healers, priests, and diviners as little more than cannibals and witchdoctors, whose only goal is to steal the souls of their unsuspecting victims.
Voodoo is an actual religion, contrary to popular belief.

Some conservatives estimate this religion to be over 10 000 years old. It is a life affirming practice that encourages its participants to better understand the natural process of life and their own spiritual natures.
