A Terrorist Attack March 11, 2004. It is approximately 11:32am. Many people have just left work for their lunch break or are enjoying the weather outside. It is a beautiful day. You can hear the birds chirping, feel the warmth of the sun on your face, and relax in the cool, spring breeze. In the park, children are laughing and playing in the grass. People are doing their daily exercises. Every so often, from your bench you can hear the sound of cross-training sneakers hitting the pavement. Some are walking their dogs or picnicking with their family. Suddenly, you smell something strange. It smells like a mixture of turpentine and rotten meat. Then the smell hits you like a wave does the shore. Terrorists have just released a highly poisonous gas into the atmosphere. As a result of this act, confusion, chaos, and finally a deafening silence ensue.
