The education of today's students never seem to be enough. Public schools are always in hot water for their large class sizes, the shortage of funds and the nonexistent technology that should be prevalent in all schools during the technology age. The government feels that it is their responsibility to take these dwindling schools and place education back into the hands of the parents, the supposed first educators in a child's life, by supplying them with handfuls of cash and power. Someone is being cheated. It is the teachers, the parents, society, or most considerably the students, the future of the United States of America.
School vouchers, in theory, appear to be a brilliant idea. However, external circumstances created cause vouchers to become an extremely controversial issue. Public schools are losing money. The low-income families are able because they are being supported financially by the government to send their children to the school of their choice.
