"Don't Drive Faster Than Your Angels Can Fly"
I used to be a person who created my own speed limit and never thought twice about getting into an accident. If I were running late for a practice, movie, or school I would always make sure I got there on time by speeding through traffic. I would forget to wear my seatbelt all the time, especially when I was just driving down the street. It did not seem like a big deal at the time but now I look at speeding and driving safely through brand new eyes.
It was Christmas break of my senior year and the last night of our high school's annual basketball tournament. Our team, the Terriers, had been playing excellent the last few nights and was up for the first place trophy. Everyone in our high school was going to be there. One of my good friends and I thought it would be fun to have a couple girls over to my house before we went to the arena. They were not positive about coming and told us if we did not see them at my house then they would see us at the game.
My friend and I decided to go down to my basement and play pool to pass the time...
