Life is a mosaic of relationships. There is probably no greater truth than this statement as an individuals life is made up of relationships with the people around them from the old lady down the road to extremely close and knowing relationships with you're partner or best friend. The movie Four Weddings and a Funeral is living proof of this statement as the entire plot, script and movie is based around the characters and their relationships with each other.
Relationships come in many different shapes and sizes, in the movie four weddings and a funeral alone, the categories or types of relationships presented include; friendship, unrequited love, dysfunctional, unreciprocated love, true love, homosexual and sibling. Through relationships only can we have the things in life that are not often thought about in depth, such as confrontation, conversation and emotions. These and things like them are simply sub-headings under the main word; relationship. Without relationships there would be no life, it is physically impossible for no-one in the world to have a relationship with another, because I believe that the word relationship includes the inner relationships that one has with themselves. There would be none of even the simple unthought of things in life that keep us sane such as approaching someone and starting a conversation, because this would be classed as having an albeit insignificant; relationship.
I can think of no argument to oppose the statement that life is a mosaic of relationships, because it is something that now when presented to me I agree and feel so strongly about. Life is simply made up of a huge bundle of relationships interwoven into something that we live everyday...
