Violence in Video Games

  Since the shootings at Columbine High School on April 20th, 1999 video games have come under extreme scrutiny because of the violence occurring in them. Some people see video games as being a greater threat then T.V. because the player of the game can enact the violence during the game. They can control the level of violence being played. Depending on the skill level of the player they can engage in more violence then somebody just learning the game. The shooters at Columbine High School created some of these games and plotted their rampage through them.
       Video games are in an estimated 85% of homes. Out of these homes 88% of boys and 64% of girls reported playing video games. Out of these children playing the games over half of them reported playing violent games either towards creatures or human beings...
