Practicing capital punishment is morally wrong. By saying this I mean that taking the life of another human being, by measures of law and justice is wrong by good moral standards, no matter the severity of the crime.
Our universe has its own way of maintaining and controlling population. Innumerable people fall victim everyday to many different causes of natural deaths. If we were intended to take the lives of fellow human beings, than our universe would not need this system of maintaining itself, to ensure enough resources for us to survive, and to keep the population and a liveable number.
Just like the old saying goes "Two wrongs don't make a right." By using the death penalty as the ultimate punishment, we are killing a criminal. This suggests that it is OK (under specific circumstances) to kill another human being. If this were the case than if we were to witness a murder, or a serious offence of some kind, than we would have the right to kill the offender, because they are going to die anyway, so we might as well save the government some money. This is immoral!..
