Prompt Number Three
Through the films "Where the Boys Are" and "Maybe I'll Come Home in the Spring" there is a big difference in the ways that teenage sexuality are portrayed, just as you would be able to notice as the years pasted at that time. It seemed to me as they went from somewhat less innocent to out of control.
In the film "Where the Boys Are" it seems as if the girls were looking to have a good time with all of the other boys at the beach but most of the women would not give into their desires until they knew that the guys were willing to make some kind of commitment. It was like they didn't want to be viewed as a girl that would sleep around with any guy and they were somewhat worried about getting pregnant. In the file "Beach Party" the portrayal of the teenage sexuality seemed to me as if it was opened up just a little bit but not a lot. The teenagers were there to have fun and carry on but their gas was not about sex. They were just out there to make out and have a good time.
