Since the visit with the food broker, I was able to see him doing his job at the Reinhart food show at Seven Springs. You truly have to be a salesperson to convince people to buy your product. One good way to sell your product is to provide a free sample of it. To say your product is great is one thing, but to back you product up with a free sample can be the key to making a sale. You can't get discouraged by people trying but not buying. At some food establishments the product may not be feasible to their needs. The product might be sold in to large a quantity or have a short shelf life. Both factors would be impractical for a small business.
Being a food broker is a commission based job. If you don't sell you don't make money, and if you don't make sells you will likely louse your job...
