Economics
As we enter the end of our senior year we are faced with some of the most important decisions we will face in our lives. Decisions related to continuing education, colleges, career choices, and housing, if we decide to move out. I have already chosen to attend a four-year university, but I am faced with the decision of choosing which one. I have narrowed it down to St. Lawrence, Hobart, and Cornell. This decision will be made after I carefully evaluate the trade-offs and opportunity costs of my final decision. A trade-off is an exchange of one thing for another, especially contemplation of one benefit or advantage for another regarded as more desirable. An opportunity cost is what alternative you give up by making your decision.
My situation is based on my need for an education, and the fact that I want to get the most out of what I pay. Since the decision of which school I want to attend is going to be made on what I want and what my parent's need, it is going to be made up of both wants and needs...
