Professor Ken Atkinson briefly discussed the accuracy of Mil Gibson's film, The Passion of the Christ. Dr. Atkinson has studied every inch of the bible and has a fluent tongue in Aramaic. Dr. Atkinson brought up the question of whether or not Mel Gibson's film can be presented as historically and biblically accurate. He found many examples in the film which would lead to think otherwise. He found numerous occasions where Aramaic was used for humorous jokes instead of advancing the story of the movie. On one occasion a servant was told to go do his master laundry.
