  My community service project was completed in Charles R. Hadley Elementary. My main assignment was to help the teacher and assist in any way I could to the class. Some of the tasks I had were to help the students with their homework, help the teacher in anything that she needed and watch the children when they play out side in the park.
  
       I planned my project various days before I start. I first talk to the teacher and find out what were my responsibilities, then I thought of ideas that may help me, I plan how to teach the children if they did any help and how to talk to them and most of all how to act in front of them. After having everything thought through I went on and started my community service project.
  
  One problem that I had from the start was that when the children came and ask for help because they didn't understand something in their homework they always wanted the answer right away, and one of my responsibilities was to teach and if I gave them the answer they would not learn so I always try to guide so that they can come to the answer for them self but many times they lose interest and so I had to try different methods until I was able to make them get the answer without telling them.
  
  I think that my project mostly had an impact in the students cause all though a few days after I am gone they will forget me, they did learn a couple of things from me, another person that my project may had an impact on was the teacher because with my help she was able to have better control over the class and have a more relaxing time because she has help with the children.
  
  I belief that from this project I have learned how hard a teacher's job can be when there is only one of you and 20,30 or more of them, I also found out that I enjoy teaching and that it's very import in our community because without education we have nothing...
