Pink Floyd was very influential for many of the newer generation bands we have today. For my advice I would commend the double compact disk "Pulse". All the tracks on these two compact disks have been put together very well, because all of the songs flow together, but of course this has always been the way "Pink Floyd" has put together their records in the past. I would definitely recommend this band to anyone because the sounds of "Pink Floyd" are mellow, but at the same time they play some really good rock and roll.
Originally, the first "Pink Floyd" song I ever heard was "Another Brick in the Wall", which in turn led me on my way to listening to more of their songs. What caught my ear most was the lyrics. The chorus is truly amazing in this song, the lyrical content and the overall instrumental sounds are very unique. Listening to what is being said is hard to interpret, for a better understanding I recommend watching "Pink Floyd: The Wall", you will be amazed by their brilliance.
The song "Sorrow" starts off very slow, with a very touching guitar solo which captures all with its melody and sound. It starts to pick up as the drums and vocals kick in...
