First Things First: Follow-up Survey First Things First Follow-up Survey ______________________________________________________________ Overall course effectiveness 1 (High) - 5 (Low) Average response: 1.75 Overall presenter effectiveness 1 (High) - 5 (Low) Average response: 1.82 Effectiveness of course materials 1 (High) - 5 (Low) Average response: 1.82 Summary of ‘What People Liked Best’: - the need to MAKE time for family/free time - it was one of the first personal development courses that took both business and personal/family into consideration - the commitment of the organization to recognizing employees as people and speaking to balance in their lives - recognition that first things in our lives are not likely to business related - mission statement setting - very helpful both professionally and personally - the weekly planning philosophy - centralization of all business/personal/social activities within one organizer - buy-in from senior management - big rocks - sharpen saw - rather than lecturing, we were working through the material and able to see relevance. - defining roles/goals and focusing on Q2 activities which are then planned for in your planner. By doing this, I can avoid much of the fire fighting that I have been doing. - exercising the freedom of choice between stimulus and response - addressed my biggest concern - managing the week, not just the day or month - This course was VERY timely.
