CHILD ABUSE
Have a minute? Good, because that is all it will take for a child to die from child abuse. Each day in the United States more than three children die as a result of child abuse in their home. More children die from child abuse and neglect than any other leading cause of deaths for infants and younger aged children. This includes choking on food, falling, suffocating, drowning, fires in the house, and vehicle accidents. About three million child abuse reports are made each year; on average, child abuse is reported every ten seconds.
Child abuse relates to health in many ways. It harms your relationships, you can lose all your friends, and it leads to divorce. Child abuse can make you feel very bad about yourself, you lose your self-esteem, and you can become depressed and start harming yourself. It also relates to personal health problems...
