Roosevelt vs. Hitler
While trying to deal with widespread hunger, homelessness, and unemployment, many new democracies were unable to cope with such problems and collapsed. During these problems, many dictators seized power. Two of the individuals were Adolf Hitler and Franklin Roosevelt. Both had similar problems to deal with, but very different thoughts on how to establish them.
As odd as it may seem, Adolf Hitler and Franklin Roosevelt were alike in many ways. Both the United States and Germany needed new leaders after the breakout of the Great Depression. Hitler told Germans he could help them and promised to give people work, as did Franklin Roosevelt. After what seemed like forever, they both were able to provide the people with work. They both wanted to expand their military as well...
