Chapter1 Introduction
A friend of mine, who have a sweet tooth, intends to open a specialty cake shop in Dalian city. The shop is to specialize in the selling of exquisite cakes, cookies and other bakery products. As he is a new one in Dalian, before the shop opening, he asked me to provide some useful advices on who will be the stores target customer. In order to figure out the target customer of his new cake shop, we designed a questionnaire, which included in the appendix.
Chapter2 Questionnaire Design
According to the definition of target market group of people that has similar wants and needs and that can be expected to show interest in the same products, we chose fifteen questions that can be sorted into three parts in the questionnaire. All the questions are multiple-choices that belong to closed questions except NO.11 asks for reasons is an open-ended question. Multiple-choice questions are a more sophisticated form of closed questions, because they can present a list of possible answers for the respondent to choose from. Additional this kind of questions can also be used to overcome some respondent sensitivities.
