Chapter One Complete
Augustine wrote "the world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page." I am quite embarrassed to say that if, in fact, the world is a book, I have not made it past the foreword. In twenty-one years, I have never really traveled, and until six months ago, I had never traveled beyond the states that surround ________. This previous summer I spent a day in New York and a weekend in Ohiothis is the extent of my travels. I wish to participate in the study abroad program because it has always been one of my goals to study abroadI think it should be a part of every education. When I graduate from _________ in the upcoming fall, I want my education to be reflected not only in my G.P.A.I want it also to be reflected in my experiences. I have dedicated a great deal of time to volunteer organizations such as Big Brother Big Sister and America Reads...
