Informative Essay
The game of football is much more in depth then just a bunch of guys trying to beat the living snot out of each other. One of the most difficult and under looked things is the art of tackling. If a player learns how to tackle properly and gets the job done they can build their game around that.
It all starts in the first few weeks of summers most dreaded time, double sessions. It all starts from scratch basically. The first thing that needs to be learned is the technique of a tackle. This is done by having the coaching staff explain it, then demonstrate to us how it is done. This process will be repeated over and over again.
The first step of the tackle that needs to be learned is the footwork. Your feet should be slightly more then shoulder width apart...
