In the play, Book of Days written by Lanford Wilson, the characters came to life through fabulous actors by telling a story about a small town that must deal with murder, hate, and love. This play is a fun yet serious production that I enjoyed immensely. Well worth one's time, energy, and money to go see.
Walking into the theatre, I saw people of all ages purchasing tickets at the box office. I looked right then left and saw ushers placing people in their seats, which gave me a feeling of relief all throughout my body because I was unsure on where to go. Once I took my seat, I saw that the stage was all set up, ready for the play to begin. The rest of the audience waited patiently, reading their programs they received before sitting down. Once 8:00 pm came, the lighting dimmed a little to let the audience know the play was going to begin. Then a few minutes later the theatre went dark. This dimmed lighting then to off lighting process was a good way to let the audience know that the play was going to begin and to end what they were doing to get ready for the show...
