Imagine: you are standing in the middle of a valley, and everywhere around you, there are snow-capped mountains. You can feel the breeze and the sun beaming down on your back, and the temperature is around 80 degrees on this warm July day, but there is no humidity so you're not even close to sweating. Doesn't this sound great? Well, this is what you would feel and see if you were in the middle of the Grand Teton National Park. This summer, I had the opportunity to see the Grand Tetons, but I didn't go in to the park itself. I also have talked to Will Jones, who had the opportunity to climb a portion of the Tetons. And, I have visited three websites concerning the Grand Teton National park, which are: Gorp.com, an informative site on the history of certain national parks; Jacksonholewy.net, which discusses the geography of the Grand Tetons; and Americanparks.net, a site on the activities of Grand Teton National Park...
