On changes of house from 1904 to present

For this lab I chose to look at the changes that have been made to my home since it was built in 1904. When my home was built it was a single family home with five rooms. It was built from wood and was painted yellow with green trim, and it had a slate roof. During this time a coal furnace heated the house. It also had gas lights through out the entire house. As you can imagine there were many minor changes made over the years but there were also many drastic changes made as well.
In the 1930's my house was converted into a boarding house for railroaders and coalminers who were working near by. During this period of time the interior as well as exterior underwent many changes. The first change is that many doors were added leading to the outside of the house there were seven total which meant every room including the bathroom had a door to the outside. During this time the house was converted into a double house, which meant the entire house was split in half...
