1. The researchers chose this study because they felt it was a hot topic of the time. The scandalous behavior and attire on television can have a malleable affect on adolescents that are struggling to forge opinions and theories. While the researchers did not have a hypothesis, they did come up with three questions that they wished to answer at the end of the study:
1. What do teenagers learn in terms of moral judgment from primetime programming?
2. Can the sexually oriented messages of prime time entertainment change teenagers' moral judgment?
3. What factors, if any, can mediate any media effects on teenagers' moral judgment?
By answering those questions, the mediators would be able to draw conclusions from the study...
