"Night"

The novel Night written by Elie Wiesel brought up many different themes through out the entire book. All of these themes however linked to one large theme that stood out in the book. The main theme was remembrance of the Holocaust and its victims and survivors. The sub-themes that were brought up were Faith through religion, family, and friends; also there is hope and survival which all associate together. These sub-themes help the readers to try and understand what the victims had to undergo in horror during that time, which brings us back to the main theme "remembrance".
A theme that was shown a lot through the novel was Hope. An example of hope was shown through family like when Elie Wiesel says " My fathers presence was the only thing that stopped meHe was running at my side, out of breath, at the end of his strength, at his wit's end. I had no right to let myself die. What would he do without me? I was his only support...
