Louise Erdrich poem points out the constant battle between reality and fiction. As we come to realize, it is obvious that depending on what perspective you are on, that is the way you tend to look at life, and define history within your own mind. Films often portray life and history in a way that makes us forget the true essence of humanity. It appears as if history is often forgotten. Those who are being portrayed falsely seem to also forget that history is a part of reality. The rest of us do not pay enough attention to what reality is and what fiction makes of it. Should we then stop and think for a moment if a film is just a fictional version of our reality? Or is reality a merely fictional part of life? Are the two related? Or can one exist without the other?..
