Before his time, the British treated Indians like slaves in their own country.
Mohandas K. Gandhi, who is known to many as a religious / political leader, was once a person that the British look down on. The film "Gandhi" depicts his life as a struggle each day for peace. The first seen takes place when he is on the train in South Africa 1893. Gandhi at this time was a successful attorney. On the train he was asked to move to 3rd class due to his color of skin. But his resistance to conform to their rules leads him to be kicked off the train with a long journey home. But, now his final destination has changed, no longer gong to visit his friend but, now to stand up to the British rule. In those days, Hindus and Muslim main purpose was to work in the mines...
