Marijuana, in my opinion, has many medical uses and should therefore be a legal prescription drug. It is used by Arthritis and Cancer patients to relieve pain, A.I.D.'s patients and anorexic people to increase their appetite, and by people who suffer from chronic migraines and headaches to lower blood pressure.
Over the years, support for legalizing marijuana has grown significantly. In the past twenty years the percentage of people in favor of legalizing marijuana has been constantly at about 25%. In 2000 the percentage rose to 31%. Today, the percentage for those in favor of legalizing marijuana is 34% according to the CNN Poll on legalizing marijuana. The U...
