Teachers can affect a student's learning experience in a major way. A good teacher leads to a positive learning occurrence for the student. On the other hand, a bad teacher can ruin a student's learning experience.
Maintaining a student's attention should be the main focus of a teacher. A humorous teacher can get everyone's attention with jokes. For example: it is six in the morning, and most of the students in the class are tired, and then all of a sudden the teacher pops a joke. The class responds with laughter, and now the teacher has got their attention. Another way to keep the class attentive is to use visual aids. Examples of visual aids include movies, slideshows, overhead projectors, writing on the chalk board, and other props.
